Why are people saying that pigs may actually be man's best friend?

i've been reading a lot up on animals and i've just recently seen these websites, forums, etc. you name it and they've been saying that the domestic pig may actually be considered "man's best friend" but why is that? just because pigs are as loyal and trainable as dogs doesn't mean, we should give them the title "Man's Best Friend". Dogs were the first animals to be domesticated and have long been by our sides way longer than domestic pigs have or any other domesticated animal and pigs were mainly domesticated for livestock/meat, and now recently yeah you've guest it " as pets" but why are pigs being considered man's best friend and as much as i love animals of all kinds (species or breeds) nothing and i'm really meaning nothing not even the pig or my favorite animal in the world the "Lion" would ever take the dog's role as "Man's Best Friend" i'll be right by a dog's side than any other animal in the world including my favorite animal the "lion". (sorry lions, i really do love ya but dogs are my bestest friends - lol)
