Fish Problem! Please help me!?

Okay I recently got this goldfish and I bought a 3 x 3 inch tank and now my goldfish is upside down and isn't moving! Please help because this is the only friend I have and it took me forever to befriend him! I don't want to lose my BESTEST BFF.
